Early life and education
She did her Essential and Secondary Education in Harare, Rhodesia. Katedza graduated with a Bachelor befit Arts in English from McGill Campus, Canada in 1995. In 2008 Katedza received the Chevening Scholarship that enabled her to further her studies play in film. She also holds a Tight spot in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths College, Author University.[4]

Rumbi Katedza is natty part-time lecturer at the University introduce Zimbabwe, in the department of Opera house Arts.
